The Living Artist Institute's Core Philosophy is that "Learning" is a lifelong, generational experience. Our Curriculum, Programming, and Partnerships, represent a "Lifespan" approach (Infancy- Adulthood).We educate Intergenerational Households in Four critical areas of Life -Skills Development. They are as follows:

Activity Professionals Training / Certification or Volunteer opportunities in Long - Term Care Environments!
The Living Artist Institute Inc. helps Intergenerational Families Connect and Participate in their Communities. Creative Arts Programming supports our mission of "bonding generations" together. We believe that Intergenerational Connections are a Lost Art Worth Preserving. The Best Practices reflected in our programming efforts are to achieve a more Caring – Oriented Society. Ultimately, The Living Artist Institute, Inc. promotes Intergenerational Connections by utilizing the following principles: Creativity, Competency, and Community.
Our goal is to create meaningful Activities, Adventures, and Advocacy for Families of all Ages. The Living Artist Institute provides the following opportunities for Intergenerational households:
- Intergenerational Support Groups – Develop and provide services and resources to 43 cities or towns of the Greater Boston Area.
- Mobile Arts Van – Travels to Shelters, Intergenerational Housing Complexes, Churches and Community Venues promoting a free, unique, creative art experience for intergenerational household members.
- Activity Professionals Training – The Living Artist Institute, Inc. offers its Alumni and the Community at Large Paid Online Training / Certification as an Activity Professional in Long –Term Care Environments.
Continuing Educational Credits (CEU) are also available. - LTC Activity Kits – Creating Activity Kits for Residents (especially those with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease) living in Long – Term Care Environments which will help "Our Intergenerational Households" to Volunteer and Give Back to Elders in need as they receive services from the Living Artist Institute, Inc.
- Life Enrichment Activities – All Living Artist Institute (LAI) Alumni will be eligible to volunteer their services to LAI and receive additional resources from LAI upon completion of the Life skills Online Educational Series.
